This executive rental cottage is located in Haliburton Highlands, just 3 hours north of Toronto. It is set amongst the tall pines of Haliburton County on Little Redstone Lake, a quiet, sandy lake. There is direct access to Big Redstone Lake (diving rocks and site seeing) and Pelaw River (for the canoe / kayak enthusiast, it provides an incredible journey).
Enjoy all the area has to offer: close to the town of Haliburton (shopping, restaurants, galleries and more), Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve Ltd. (Wolf Centre, A Walk in the Clouds, Submarine Rides, and more), Lakeside Golf Club, bike trails, hiking, boating, swimming, and much more.
There is lots to enjoy in the winter as well. The cottage connects to the Haliburton Forest and Ontario snowmobile trails. Cross country skiing along the Redstone Lakes and Peelaw River is breathtaking after a fresh snowfall. Sir Sam's ski lodge is close for those who prefer downhill skiing. Just up the road from the cottage, at the Wolf Centre, you can take advantage of winter activities such as dog sledding. Or one can opt to stay indoors and relax by the cozy fireplace.
